2nd May 2021 – Christian Aid, Kirk Session, VE-day, Social Distancing

Christian Aid Week May 10-16

Liz and Susan completed their Kiltwalk on Friday 23rd April walking from Aberdour to Inverkeithing on the Coastal Path.    Thank you very much for your very generous donations, the sum of £675.00 has been received for Christian Aid.    The Hunter Foundation who organise the Kiltwalk add another 50% to the total so that makes a grand total of £1012.50 which will be sent to Christian Aid, plus of course any Gift Aid.

Due to Covid restrictions we will not be able to do our usual collection for Christian Aid which begins on 10th May.    In view of that we will make envelopes available in the Church on two Sundays, 9th and 16th May.   Thank you for your continued support. From Liz Hunter.

Christian Aid envelopes will be available also in North Queensferry Church as there will be no door-t0-door collection this year. From Chris Duguid.

Kirk Session

The Inverkeithing Kirk Session will meet via Zoom on Thursday 13th May at 7.pm.

VE Day 2021

The Royal Navy Association Rosyth Branch will celebrate VE Day 2021 by laying a wreath at Inverkeithing War Memorial at 1500hrs on Saturday, 8th May. You may wish to attend.

There will be a service of Renewal of Vows and rededication of the Branch Standard in the Church on Sunday, 9th May in the evening. This is reserved for members and spouses.

Social Distancing

Please remember to observe social distancing at all public events and to let Joan More or Chris Duguid know if you plan to attend worship as we are still restricted to 50 persons in the Inverkeithing, and 28 in the North Queensferry church buildings.
