Dear Members

Please see attached a letter from The Church of Scotland, 121 George Street concerning “Congregational giving and finances.”

This letter outlines the pressures that are currently coming to bear on the church nationally and our church in particular, as a consequence of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The main thrust of this appeal is contained in the excerpt below:

“Our call would be that as sisters and brothers in Christ we support both one another and our church through our giving. If you need to reduce your offering because of personal circumstances – then do so without worry or guilt. Likewise, if you can at this time increase your giving then do so with a glad and joyous heart.”

Please read the letter from the C of S which is attached.

In the light of this, should you wish to increase or reduce your standing order for your offering, or, transfer your offering from an existing envelope or open plate to a standing order, this can be done in two ways.

1. Set up via on-line banking.
or
2. The attached form can be completed and taken or posted to your bank branch.

NB. The attached form ( Standing Order Form.) lists all the NQ Church account details if you want to do it via on-line banking.

In addition if you would like to Gift Aid your giving, at no cost to yourself, then please also fill in the Gift Aid Form below and return to Andrew King, 1 Inchcolm Drive, North Queensferry.
