Sunday Update – 21st July 2024

We welcomed Rev Suzie Rogers today and, within her Sermon, heard more tales of the travels with Henry the campervan! With readings from throughout the Bible – Exodus 25, v1-8, John 1, v1-14 and Revelation 21, v1-4, we acknowleged that the reassuring feelings of being at home, being loved, follow us wherever we travel. Making room for the love of God within us, ensures Suzie’s theme of ‘Home is where we park it’ can always apply!

This is time of change for all in the Forthview Parish Church grouping and our many prayers today included those for the Nomination Committee, praying for guidance in their search for three Ministers to join us in this new Union in Fife Presbytery. Next Sunday, 28th July, our service will be led by Elaine Wood while the Worship Group, within our congregation, will lead the service on 4th August. On 11th August, Andrea will take the services at North Queensferry and Inverkeithing at the conclusion of her current appointment.
